Laser Radiation
Laser light is non-ionizing. Non-ionizing radiation is radiation that has enough energy to affect the atoms in a molecule but not enough to change the molecule or break it down. We are surrounded every day by non-ionizing radiation in the form of sunlight. Another form of non-ionizing radiation is microwave energy. Non-ionizing radiation can be safely used for many purposes, but when used in an unsafe manner, it can be dangerous to human health. Even too much sunlight can cause injuries like sunburns. In addition, the eyes can develop cataracts after years of exposure to bright sunlight without the protection of sunglasses.
