The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has published ANSI B11.TR1, a technical report titled "Ergonomic Guidelines for the Design, Installation and Use of Machine Tools." This guideline applies ergonomic concepts and principles to the use of tools and machines to reduce workplace injury and improve production. This report is available for purchase from the American Society of Safety Engineers.
