Fire Ants
Fire ants are red and black, and extremely aggressive. They will swarm over anything (including people) that disturbs their mound and inflict a very painful sting. Where they sting, a small blister will form that feels itchy.
Africanized honey bees are more aggressive than other types of honey bees. They will swarm when disturbed and inflict a painful sting; people and animals have died because of an attack.
They will chase people and animals for quite a distance (at least several hundred yards or more); most people die when they cannot get away quickly enough.
The bees build hives in crevices and cracks in buildings and structures, trees, and other similar locations. They will swarm in spring and summer, looking for a new place to build a hive.
