If Bitten by a Spider
If you are bitten by a spider:
- Clean the bite area with soap and water.
- Apply ice to the bite; this slows the spread of venom.
- Elevate and immobilize the part of the body that was bitten.
- Capture the spider, if possible, for identification.
- Get medical treatment quickly, especially if you have a heart condition.
