Dual-Monitors

Dual-monitor setups are increasingly common in the office setting as software programs become more sophisticated and workflows move from printed to digital format. Keep the following points in mind when setting up your workstation for dual-monitor use:

  • Keep the monitors at the same recommended distance from your eyes as that of a single monitor.
  • Position the primary screen directly in front of you so that you can type and use your mouse without having to turn your head or twist or bend your body.
  • The secondary screen should be positioned at no greater than a 30 degree angle from the primary monitor.

Note that for all workstation adjustments, employees should be properly trained to make specific adjustments to their workstation and work equipment to fit their individual needs.
