Employer Responsibilities - Implement Solutions

Once an employer has identified and prioritized the problem areas, work can begin on selecting solutions and improvements. It is a good idea to implement solutions on a trial basis before adopting them company-wide. Solutions may include redesigning workstations, changing job processes, or using new job aids like copy stands or telephone headsets.

Once the solutions have been implemented, it is important to keep track of whether they are solving the problems. Employers should give employees enough time to adjust to the changes before deciding if the solutions are working or not. Sometimes further adjustments will have to be made before the best solutions are found.
