Safety Standards - CDC: NIOSH

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is a federal government research agency that conducts research into the causes of work-related diseases and injuries. NIOSH also evaluates the hazards of new technologies and work practices, and looks for ways to control these hazards so that workers are protected.
