Documentation

A SDS is just one type of documentation. Documentation can also provide information on company policies and procedures. For example, the company's HAZCOM program should be documented and made available to workers.

Standard Operating Procedures, or SOPs, describe important step-by-step instructions for completing tasks or jobs safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Know where documentation is, and read through it. Once again, ask questions if you do not understand any content.
