Safe & Healthful Workplace
OSHA standards require employers to provide a safe and healthful workplace free of recognized hazards, train employees on those hazards and furnish required protective equipment.
Workers' responsibilities include following their employer's safety and health rules (that comply with OSHA standards) and wear all required gear and equipment.
Workers are encouraged to report hazardous conditions to their supervisor, or OSHA if employers do not address and fix reported conditions.
Many topics in the course have corresponding OSHA standards that must be met so that workers can safely and legally perform their job duties.
