Along with training, documentation provides information on company policies and procedures related to hazards.
In some cases, you will be provided with Standard Operating Procedures, or SOPs, which describe important step-by-step instructions for completing tasks or jobs safely, efficiently, and effectively.
For chemical hazards, an accompanying Safety Data Sheet (SDS) explains important information about that chemical, including required PPE.
Know where documentation is, and read through it. Once again, ask questions if you do not understand any content.
