A drowning victim will exhibit symptoms, such as:
- Bluish or pale skin on the face and lips,
- Coughing and expelling a clear to pink colored foamy liquid,
- Decreased consciousness (appearing to be in a daze), or loss of consciousness,
- Labored or no breathing, and or
- Weak or no heartbeat
