Dusts
Dusts are solid particles that are formed by handling, crushing, grinding, drilling, or blasting materials.
Dusts are measured as a concentration of airborne particles in a given space, and are measured in either milligrams or micrograms per cubic meter of air (either mg/m3 or µg/m3).
Dust can irritate the eyes and nose, and prolonged exposure to toxic dust can result in chronic health effects.
