Hose, Cord, & Cable Management Systems

Workers can use reels to coil hoses and cords and store them out of the way. Reels can be portable, mounted overhead, or attached to a wall or workstation.

Overhead reels reduce the need for workers to drag, bend, and reach for air hoses. Overhead reels can prevent trip hazards by keeping hoses and cords off the ground. Retractable reels store pneumatic and electrical hoses and cords easily and conveniently. Spring-retractable devices reduce the need for workers to manually wind reels.

Be sure to minimize tangles and pinch points in the travel path in order to reduce the required pulling forces. Provide enough leader on the hose to minimize pulling.
