Ergonomics is the applied science of designing and arranging things people use so that the people and things interact most efficiently and safely.
Musculoskeletal disorders are injuries or disorders of the muscles, nerves, tendons, joints, and cartilage of the upper and lower limbs, neck, and lower back. These injuries are caused by or exacerbated by sudden exertion or prolonged exposure to physical factors, such as force, repetition, awkward posture, contact stress, or vibration.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) refers to equipment worn to minimize exposure to hazards.
