Creating a Written Hazard Report
Once a site manager or employer has conducted a site survey, a written hazard report must be created. This report outlines the hazards present in the workplace in detail. The hazard report also briefly outlines safety measures and procedures related to each risk. This document should be updated periodically according to changes in the workplace. A copy of this report should also be distributed to workers to inform them of the hazards present.
These measures are critical to ensuring that the work environment is safe for all employees. It is also recommended that you review your records of previous injuries, as well as fall hazard and risk information available through industry associations, regulators, safety consultants, and technical specialists when identifying hazards.
