Task Analysis
In this step, employers should examine all intended uses of a device or system of devices from the viewpoint of both the manufacturer and the user. All steps and tasks related to using, servicing, and maintaining a device or system of devices should be written out, analyzed, and standardized. The analysis should include any tasks related to the possible misuse of the device or system.
When creating a task identification list, try to include the following categories:

- Product feeding into device or system
- Product takeoff from machine or system
- Changing over system or tool
