Aerial Lifts Use for Transport of Materials
Outriggers, Brakes, and Wheel Chocks
Do not pick up loads unless the aerial boom lift is specifically rated and designed to handle the load. If the lift is rated for transporting materials, remember to balance the load properly on the platform or bucket. NEVER load one side or end of the working platform with more weight than the opposite end. DO NOT hang loads from the sides of the lift or extend the loads past the platform perimeter. Again, be sure to check the operator's manual for maximum load weight.
If the aerial lift has add-on attachments from the manufacturer, the attachments could change the rated load capacity. The operator's manual and the load data plate must be consulted before operating the lift.
