Confined Space Hot Work Authorized Entrant Responsibilities

As an authorized entrant operating hot work equipment in a confined space, you must perform the following:

• Review the Hot Work Permit.
• Have supervisor approval before starting hot work operations.
• Examine all equipment to ensure good operating conditions; if found faulty, report to your supervisor immediately.
• Have proper training on equipment.
• Stop hot work and notify management or supervisors if you recognize potential hazardous conditions.
