Confined Space Hot Work Training

Training is one of the most important requirements for performing hot work in confined spaces. Job descriptions and appropriate training vary within job functions. If you are an authorized entrant or operator performing hot work operations, you must receive the following hot work training before entering a confined space:

  • Lighting - this training covers appropriate lighting within a confined space when utilizing different hot work techniques.
  • Use of first aid - this training covers first aid procedures in case of injury.
