IATA Class 3 Packing Instructions
Any packages containing liquid dangerous goods should have a package orientation label with the words "THIS WAY UP." Single packagings with end closures must be loaded and stowed aboard an aircraft with such closure upward.
Specific packing instructions are listed in Section 4.2 List of Dangerous Goods and can be found in Section 5.3. The packing instruction numbers are in the 300 range.
Class 3 dangerous goods must be segregated from Class 1 and Division 5.1 dangerous goods.
