IATA Class 4 Division 4.2 Substances Liable to Spontaneous Combustion
The label for Division 4.2 dangerous goods has a white background on the upper half of the label and a red background on the lower half. The flame symbol is printed in black on the upper half of the label. Examples of Division 4.2 dangerous goods include:
- Activated carbon
- Calcium, pyrophoric
- Oily rags
- Seed cake
- Iron oxide, spent
Division 4.2 must be segregated from Class 1 (except for Division 1.4S) and Division 5.1 dangerous goods.
