IATA Informing Passengers and Shippers
The operator is responsible for providing passengers and shippers with the appropriate information to ensure that they are not inadvertently carrying or shipping dangerous goods on the aircraft. This includes providing sufficient notices that are prominently displayed at cargo acceptance checkpoints. During baggage check-in, the operator should seek confirmation from the passenger that the baggage does not contain any dangerous goods that are not permitted.
