IATA Outer Packaging General Requirements
Different dangerous goods can be packed into one outer packaging provided they meet the following requirements:

- The dangerous goods do not react dangerously to each other.
- The dangerous goods do not require segregation as outlined in Table 9.3.A.
- The quantity of a dangerous goods item in an inner packaging must comply with all relevant packing instructions.
- The outer packagings used are allowed by all applicable packing instructions for the dangerous goods contained therein.
- The prepared package meets the specification performance tests for the most restrictive packing group of a dangerous goods item in the package.
- The quantities of dangerous goods in the outer package do not exceed the maximum net quantity as calculated using the Q value formula.
