IATA SCoETDG Regulations

The United Nations (UN) Subcommittee of Experts on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (SCoETDG) develops recommendations for the transport of all types of dangerous goods except for radioactive materials. These recommendations are applicable to all modes of transport. The SCoETDG publishes these findings in the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods - Model Regulations.

Similarly, the International Atomic Energy Association (IAEA) develops recommendations on procedures for the safe transport of radioactive material. These procedures are published in the Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (IAEA TS-R-1 SSR-6).
