IATA High Consequences
High consequence dangerous goods are those that could be potentially misused for purposes of terrorism and may result in serious consequences such as mass casualties and destruction. Table 1.7.A provides an indicative list of high consequence dangerous goods, with the exception of those in Class 7. For Class 7 - Radioactive Materials, the designation of high consequence applies when the material has an activity greater than or equal to a transport security threshold of 3,000 A2 per single package, except for the radionuclides listed in Table 1.7.B.
